Cynthia D. Sculco, EdD, RN, is an adjunct associate professor of nursing at New York University. She has been involved in nursing education for more than 25 years, focused on graduate education and the advanced practice role of nursing.
Mrs. Sculco earned her BSN at the University of Rhode Island and her MEd and EdD at Columbia University Teachers College in New York City.
She is vice president of the Thomas P. and Cynthia D Sculco Foundation, vice president and chair of the development committee of the Nurses Educational Funds, Inc. (NEF) and president of the American Friends of the Salzburg Easter Festival. Mrs. Sculco is on the board of the American-Austrian Foundation, the American Friends of the Lucerne Festival and the advisory board of the New York University College of Nursing. She received the Distinguished Alumnus Award from the University of Rhode Island in 2006 and is a member of the University of Rhode Island Foundation. Mrs. Sculco was elected a member of the Metropolitan Opera Association in 2013.
