Ann retired from NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital (NYULH) in June 2021 where she served as VP of Nursing and Patient Services for 22 years. At NYULH she led the nursing department in the achievement of two Magnet Designations. Her desire to assist other nurses in the opportunity to advance nursing practice is what motived her to join this board.
She is a seasoned administrator having held several nursing administrative positions including Director of Nursing, Brookdale University Hospital and Assistant Director of Critical Care at Maimonides Medical Center.
During her career, Ann held leadership positions in the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN) , New York Organization of Nurse Executives (NYONE) and Greater NY Nassau Suffolk Organization of Nurse Executives (GNYNSONE). In addition, she held memberships in Sigma Theta Tau, Upsilon Chapter, Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN) Association of Orthopedic Nurses (NAON), American Nurses Association (ANA) and ANA New York.
Ann received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Hunter College Bellevue School of Nursing and her Master of Arts (MA) - Delivery of Health Services from New York University. Since she had an interest in systems theory and leadership, she then obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Baruch College, City University of New York.
